A week ago, we implemented Patch 1.2.1 on the European servers and with it, many anticipated improvements and additions to the game. However, and unfortunately, this patch caused a decrease in server stability, causing significant issues with performance and in rare cases even character rollbacks. These issues was quickly addressed by Mythic but to implement the fixes we had to bring down our servers during prime time, something we normally avoid.

We know how frustrating these events have been for our players and as a token of this we’ve already attributed a free day to all active European accounts. However, we’d also like to give you a more tangible compensation; starting this afternoon and running throughout the weekend all European servers will enjoy a flat 20% bonus to Experience and Renown gain!
