Passing and shooting is also much improved feeling more accurate and controlled with directional input and passing control being vastly superior,plus shooting feels more solid and crosses bend more with heading from crosses being more realistic as they dont always cannon in and players mis-direct and scew wide based on there body position,.The r2 button and ball trapping mechanics also dont feel sticky and are instant.
Not a overhaul and those expecting big changes should wait for pes2011,but if you want a finished and complete version of pes2010 with the japanese challenge mode thrown in and a few additional animations with solid gameplay, this is certainly the game for you.
On a side note the refs are improved award more penalties and freekicks.Goalkeepers are also improved but there still prone to the odd mistake but this is fine in my book as they feel human.
Because the animation is smoother the players dont feel and look so robotic and this game doesnt look and feel so on rails with the players not being on such a fixed plain.
